| Quote: Who are ya!! "People like you mickey me right off, Staffs are not all like that it's how there trained, your just being stereotypical and tarring them all with the same brush.
Will can all find a news report as well,
rlLabrador kills a babyrl
Staffs seem to be the in thing with chavs and it's these people who turn these once friendly dogs into savages.'"
One "staff" tearing a child's cardio vascular system apart (as duly evidenced by the report) is one too many in my opinion. You never hear of a cat doing same. They are by logical deduction lethal. I'm sorry if I you off but facts are facts. We do not have to agree nor make it personal.
The fact is they are an aggressive mammal and left in the hands of the sub-class (who incidentally can scarcely raise a child sufficiently well enough to attend school, read or write and respect law and order) they are lethal.
Why is it always these fatal/hideously marring dog attacks happen, almost without exception, within council estates? In fact why do most child abuse cases arise from the very same places?

Exactly, brought up properly, it's just another dog. Give the idiots a spaniel and they'd make it a fighter.

Are you really suggesting a Poodle and Rottweiler have the exact same inbuilt propensity and natural inclination to attack children/other dogs/other living things?
PS The article you quote refers to a Labrador mix, I see you failed to point that out in your debate.

Yes. Poodles were bred iirc for use by the French police and military. But the fact of the matter is, that no dog has an inbuilt propensity to attack. Of course, all dogs have a natural "prey drive", they are after all predators as a species. however, any dog, regardless of breed, that Is exercised properly, disciplined and socialised, will not cause a problem in a society as a domestic animal. The unfortunate thing is for staffies, is they are traditionally a working dog much the same as jack russells, and as with all terriers, have the inbuilt action to shake things, rats etc.. This is what causes the damage when one is left to it's own devices. Any dog is capable of causing death, but the issues surrounding staffies now, has already befallen rotties, alsatians, and Doberman as breeds, and that is, once the idiots get their hands on them, it's inevitable that incidents increase.

If we accept this, and I note you quote no scientific evidence to advance your claim on the similarity of dog breeds and vicious attacks, then surely the 'idiots' should be stopped from having access from "dogs capable of causing death". The feckless scum can scarcely look after themselves never mind society at large. I'd have them stopped from having children too, which they will no doubt abuse.

| Ridiculous comparison debunking Timmy the Koi's argument of canine species vs potential danger to the populous. Which one is more likely to expose your trachea (windpipe) in your opinion? If you think the same, side with Timmy.

Idiots shouldn't be allowed to own a dog full stop, you wont find an argument from me on that. I'm all for licensing for animals, but then again, I'm a responsible owner, and in general, I'm not the problem. Yes I have a staffy, who i had as a rescue dog from 1yr old, and he was a little bugger initially, however, three years on, and he's a fine example of howthe breed should be recognised. Proof surely, that in the hands of the right owner, these dogs are no more dangerous than any other? My sister has a cavalier king Charles spaniel. Guess which one of the dogs has bit people?

Well done, we can paste a picture of a shi-tzu or lahsa apso, and a picture of a Rottweiler. Incidentally, note the lack of intensity in the eyes and the relaxed ears on the rottie. Nothing more than a warning bark, certainly not attacking.
I accept your point, as ridiculous as it may be. On a serious note, is it dogs you don't like in general, or just specific breeds?

I got my staff has a rescue dog when it was 5 and the thing what surprise me about the breed of dog is how clever it is i was amazed when i seen it opening my living room door from both sides, i was even more amazed when it figured how to open it when it's fully shut i stood there in awe as it pulls the handle down with one paw then lent back too pull the door open.

Mine is not quite in that intelligence category, If he can't open it with his head, he's stumped! he is dangerous though...I've nearly been licked to death everyday since owning him!

| I remember watching Planet Earth on Wild dogs, amazing animals and to watch them hunt makes you realise how intelligent they are.

Well that's your own fault for pooping in your socks then...

| I'd rather be bitten by a chihuahua than a staffordshire bull terrier if I had to choose. Common sense - sharper teeth, more powerful jaws, musculature.
