| There was a higher res copy of the same pic put on the virtual terrace somewhere, he's obscured behind a wire player, Ganson probably in line with the left hand (as Leeds look at it) goalpost.

Myler was just stupid. If you freeze the frame before the ball is played he's stood deliberately offside. Had he stood in line with those next to him he would have got away with it, his problem was where he started from, not moving too soon.

| That pic is very deceiving because of the perspective it has been take from. I think he probably is fractionally offside. It's just a sad for the game to end in that way as marginal offsides are ignored throughout the game.
I was more bothered about the lying on I mentioned earlier in the thread. I'd forgotten about it after the match and seeing it on TV again, I remembered shouting for it at the time.

| The ball is "in play" as soon as it hits the ground, not the player playing its foot. As the ball is already on its way through the players legs it cannot be used to say Myler was offside.
Also the problem of marking the 10 metres comes into question again. Its INCORRECT to say "in front of the ref = offside" as refs will mark ten metres differently. The refs will however notify the teams by what he considers "ten metres". This can be "level with me", "I will be at 11" etc etc. The "unjustness" of the decision is that throughout the rest of the game BOTH teams were playing to these kind of margins. I havent got a problem with this thing being called as "offside" as long as its ALWAYS called "offside".................(at least by the same officials in the same match)

| No doubt about it, we should have played bridge at centre and Ben Harrison in the 2nd Row or on the bench and started Westwood. I accept Riley played well, but what is the point of playing a 2nd hooker these days especially Clarke who never scoots from acting half back and anyone can pass the ball surely.

| Nobody can argue with the fact that Myler was offside, but the annoying thing is that it happens when anybody tries to kick a winning drop goal and is never given as a penalty. It's a bit like a football ref giving a penalty at 0-0 in the 90th minute for shirt pulling at a corner when it has been occuring throughout the entire match.

Bridge was at centre when he let Webb walk straight through him, he should have stayed at loose.
For me, the only questionable selection I had was Solomona. He came on & played prop, did okay sure, but I'd prefer Harrison to do that job. For me, if you're having Solomona on the bench, then he has to be our sort of 'throw of the dice' on that left edge, hopefully causing havoc like he did to Wigan in the QF.
I was astounded that we didn't see him out there.

| Iv'e seen the "Bridge should have started at centre" thing a few times. Are people completely forgetting how well it was working previously? It's a moot point anyway. The team selection wasn't the issue, it was the performance of the majority of the team being well below the standard of the previous weeks/majority of the season.
It's like saying the deck chairs on the titanic should have been arranged differently. No really it is.
