| I'm confused by the message - what was waffle - the facts remain that Matt p on his arrival highlighted his " ultimate" ambition of a return to the NRL and then cited his players in his rallying cry to show "loyalty". When this didnt transpire from Stefan, Matt indicated through public domain that he was off to Warrington. Now maybe we could argue that it was his right to do so but lets just agree that if I had been offered a new job I wouldn't want my current manager to go around announcing it to the world in advance of the opportunity to disclose myself. It reflected poor judgement and what I found most preturbing in making my first post was that a coach displayed unprofessionalism and not the least bit of hypocricism upon his arrival in this country reflecting his own personal ambitions and then being upset towards one of his own players in making equal judgements for himself. I'm not going to argue with you Ex salford Uni We will simply have to agree to disagree and I do wish you all the best for next season as I actually quite like Salford. By the way,No I'm not Tony Smith and didnt even know that this was his viewpoint until after my post. Thanks for welcoming me aboard - I think!!!!!!!

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

Don't be afraid, I'll explain.
I'm referring to Iestyn Harris and Paul Sculthorpe. Both were products of Warrington's academy, both left. Iestyn Harris signed for Leeds Rhinos and Paul Sculthorpe signed for St Helens. We'd love to have kept them but they left to join clubs where a) they would have a chance to compete for trophies and b) for a massive pay rise.
As a result, we know how painful it can be. Christ, in 2004 Nick Fozzard sacked us off to join Saints and even THAT hurt. The reason? Saints tripled his money. Doubt that will happen to us again...

I got the reference thanks, but now 60% of the Warrington forum are a little wiser. Good egg.

So it was a "a lot of Warrington fans are Jonny Come Latelys" dig? Apologies, too subtle for me.
For what it's worth, we do have a fair few of those. However, a) it's imperative in order to grow your crowds and b) it's a sign that the team has achieved something. If I was you I'd be hoping that Salford attract some of their own JCLs once the impact of the stadium kicks in.

Dog lover seems ok thanks. As he's a Salford resident perhaps he thought there may be more to his liking there. As for the importance of the press your new coach seems to enjoy venting his anger at Warrington via them. Perhaps its jeolousy or perhaps he's realised what a thankless task he's taken on.

It's what we're pinning our hopes to. Thankfully the quality of poster on our forum needn't worry about similar dilution, we appear to have hit rock-bottom already on there!

tbh i listened a bit and muted Wigan in the first half.
Sounded like a stunted affair from Salford. They did well to score a few in the second half though
