What a complete pile of toss.
You only have to look at Westwoods defence of Tomkins after the pathetic booing after the Exiles game to see how much crap is being spouted above.
I'm a Warrington fan and want hate them, but I've met them on a couple of occasions and have to say they're a genuine nice couple of guys. They love rugby and are particularly articulate about the game.
Kills me to say it but they are a credit to rugby league.

Shame not all fans can credit each team where its due.
Credit to Warrington Expected world war 4 on here regardless of who won.
Wigan, Warrington or both for the Grand final! (Yorkshire hater more than anything.)

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

| I hate it when Sam Tomkins collects the ball and has some open space, it frightens me to death. Yesterday, in a crucial game he stood up and really performed.

4486_1428087820.png Newsnight 13th May 2010: "With the role of Deputy Prime Minister a non-job. Has Nick Clegg gone from King Maker to tea maker????"
I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew

I understand where Sam's arrogance tag comes from when he's on the pitch, but off the pitch he's one of the most quiet, modest likeable lads. He's a St.Pats lad, and still comes down to the club to watch. He's often there on a Sunday cheering the kids on, having impromptu coaching sessions with them. If watching a game, he sort of hides around the corner so there's no distraction. Still up until last season he was coaching St.Pats U18's. He's go time for anyone that wants to talk to him. There's never a "Big I am".

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

Correct, one of the nicest and most approachable of players, in fact all three of the Tomkins boys are. They obviously have had a very good solid family upbringing as their dad also loves his RL and you never get the "those are my boys swagger" with him, although he must be / should be bursting with pride.

I agree, and that was one of my worries yesterday that we would kick to him poorly, offering him returns on the fly etc. He was sensational yesterday.

| You get a player who is roundly boo'd by the opposition and generally 'hated', and you tend to know it's because he creates a fear factor amongst those people. It was similar with Farrell.
If Sam T was in the Aus / NZ team he would be being hailed, and we would see comments like "why can't we produce that kind of player over here". blah blah.

Exactly!!!
The lad does nothing different from other players!

His passing is very good but it's more his decision making when passing that needs work.
It'll come though and when those little touches get added my word he'll be pretty special.

Yesterday Hodgson milked a penalty by rolling around! Westwood had a moan and swore at the ref did you happen to comment on this or is that ok?
Sam yesterday got hit hard with a tackle from Westwood I think. He just got up played the ball with a smile on his face real bad attitude that!!
Briers has an arrogance about him, so does Sinfield or does that make your Tomkins bashing stand up to well?
Can you name anyone thing he did yesterday that showed this horrible cheating play acting bad attitude that is apparently oozing out of him?

You've actually got a mate have you?? Surprising with your bitter twisted view of the world.
