We will, IMO. It's looking like we'll be missing; Hodgson, King, Joel and Michael Monas from the Exiles. Then, possibly; Bridge, Atkins, Myler, Morley, Westwood and Harrison from England if their is no limit on one club selection.

I'm not sure TBH. I also thought of that but assumed it was for team selection as well as voting. I suppose time will tell.
I agree though that if they want an interchange hooker then M.Monas will be selected.

| Guess all the ones moaning about this ruining our game against Salford (oh FFS get real it might make it an even game) are the same people who moan about rugby league having no presence in the media and about players going to rugby union for the experience of international competition.
No suprise in this because its all the same narrow minded, can't see further than the end of their own nose, self-interested, biggetted(sp) rugby league fan that will cause the game to die by drowning in its own self-pity.
Did somebody really write to the RFL to complain, christ on a bike. They'll probably complain that the RFL didn't respond as well - guess what; they have things that are just a teeny, weeny little bit more important than your stupid e-mail of complaint that is on a par to the Wigan fan who complained about Morley and Carvell getting off their bans last year.
I love the idea and will be there supporting the concept, couldn't give a toss who wins and accept its on a Friday for tv.

| I get your point but this isn't cricket or rugby union with centrally contracted players. RL has had a sub standard international game for it's entire history and the average fan is always gonna be more bothered about their club than England. Especially in a game like this.
Keep a free window to play it on a non Super League weekend and the negative responses will be far fewer and farther between. Potentially damage a club's chances of two points that weekend and their fans won't like it. Simple as that.

| The fact that they are playing the game on a Friday night in Leeds, and then having a full fixture list over the weekend shows just how well thought out the concept has been!
Wouldn't it have been better to play the game on Thursday 26th May and force ALL clubs to play that weekends fixtures on the Monday 30th May (Spring Bank Holiday) thus giving all participating players the maximum recovery time. Sky would get their exiles game, then could back it up with a game or even a double/triple header of games on the Monday afternoon/evening/night.

Love the idea, just not the timing, i want to beat Salford, i want us to win the league, nothing small/narrow minded about that. This exiles game means nothing in the grand scheme of things whereas Wire winning the league would mean a hell of a lot more.
Yes i know it was a daft email but i don't care. Until we win the league then yes i am self interested and i won't apologise for it either.

| According to the site, currently, the Exiles team if voting closed now, would feature Craig Fitzgibbon at both second-row and loose-forward

| Surely we can stop 6 ing players going.
As a club there must be something in it. Let them have atkins, hodgeson and king and maybe even joel.
We'll keep bennie and Moz.
edit: i mixed myplayer nationalities up. and we have given them our 3 best centres never mind

| Great idea the timing is all wrong. It should be played at the start of the season.

| If the clubs or players were that bothered about it, then why don't they simply announce the 'representative' retirement of all their potentially selected players for that weekend?
I'm pretty sure that our overseas contingent really couldn't give a flying **** for this whole thing anyway and can an England side really do without Westwood or Harrison in the long term?

| IS there anything (minus the ballache) stopping people from maybe having multiple votes through separate accounts.
Find a close fought position and vote en masse to save the wire player from getting picked?

But it's quite possible that everyone else is voting FOR the Wire player to be included, so negating any cheating tactics you choose to employ.
There can only be a maximum of three Exiles players per team plus whatever players are called up to play for England. We have three Exiles players put forward and four of our first team players were also called up to the England squad (one, Pryce, won't make it as he is out for another two months).
Superleague teams are all playing their regular round game on the Sunday following, so they do get a day off. That's only a day less than the players have at Easter.

| from the listed players
1. Kearney - Bradford
2. Meli - St Helens
3. king - Warrington
4. Howell - Quins
5. Richards - Wigan
6. Chase - Castleford
7. Sammut - Cru Cru Crusaders
8. Cashmere - Salford
9. Buderus - Leeds
10. Mason - Hull KR
11. Menzies - Catalans
12. Fa'alongo - Hudds
13. Fitzgibbon - Hull
1 from each Sl team in the starting 13. 4 clubs to have another representative on the subs bench. Ironically the only SL club not represented is Wakefield. Obviously this is not going to happen with Tommy Leulaui named as vice captain so will likely start. This for me would at least be a reasonably fair way to try and ensure that no club is penalised far greater than any other.
