| The answer is quite simple, if the LABEL intstructs you to wash at a certain level, or rather it says NOt to wash at XYZ, you follow these instructions, then the Club HAVE to return the product to you or offer a refund, on the basis that the product sold is not compliant with the labelling.
They will in turn have to revert to ISC for a refund as the shirt supplier.
If the Club then becomes inundated with returns, one would assume there is a clause in the Purchase Contract allowing for refunds or recompense to be made.
Just read that last sentence back and remembered who we are dealing with here....
When I first saw the shirts, my first reaction was basically we are having the p... taken out of us.
Even my son said...'I'm not wearing that...that wouldn't be any good for a training top either'
Not that I have checked, but are these being sold as 'replica' kits ?
However, take it back and take no nonsense, the aggro I had trying to renew my sons season ticket verged on biblical proportions, not enhanced by the fact the the staff memebers were inacapable of being able to read, or even understamd what was written.......shocking

| So they knew there was a fault with the item before, or rather after they sold it to you... either way mate they have cocked up and you have every right to demand a refund or a replacement.
By telling you they have now started changing the washing instructions is admission they know that the original packaging was incorrect.
Something the Club should take up with their supplier, but it is not your fault they have supplied incorrectly labelled products.
If you have looked after the product in accordance with the MANUFACTURERS instructions, then you have total recourse for a refund replacement.
I have had a similar problem with a pair of walking boots that stopped being waterproof. They were washed/treated as per Manufacturers instructions. One phonecall, and all I had to do was return the boots, and within a week I received a brand new pair with a letter of apology.
Go back in and demand a refund, start making a fuss, YOU are in the right. That does not excuse the Club from selling incorrectly labelled products, they have a duty of care to ensure the products they sell are 'fit for purpose'.
Anyone remember the days when the Customer was always right.......

I don't have any experience in that area Rob. In fact, I didn't even realise people gave them names (presumably yours is called Biscuit). You learn something new everyday, thanks Rob.

| simple answer to the kit problem is don't buy one ! The club will hopefully get the message that the kit is sub standard and not a replica of the playing kit and nowhere near good enough quality that the £45 price tag deserves, the shirt that is being sold should be marketed as leisure wear not a replica price should be £20 max due to market level quality ! sorry to any market trader whom this may upset as their quality is probably better !

8/10 - I'll give you that one.
For those that are interested, I was in the club shop yesterday and they have a couple of new bits and bobs in - rain jacket and a half zip jumper. No new NRL stuff as yet.

| Did you notice if they had any ISC baseball caps in the new away colours? I'll buy one if they have but obviously won't wear it to a game and risk being seen as one of those colours wearing types.

Maybe it was how I approached them.

| I have had a similar problem Mr Leicester.
Bought a kit when they first came out in November, no sticker on bag so washed as per instructions and the colours have run. I now live in Northampton so attempted to return to the shop when back in Warrington for Christmas. The clown who dealt with me refused to swap as I hadn't washed on a cold wash. After pointing out that this is not what the instructions on the label says, he told me about the sticker on the bag. There was no such sticker when I bought my shirt, when I pointed this out he had the audacity to claim her personally placed a sticker on every bag and so I must be accusing him of being a liar.
There are so many things wrong with this that I don't even know where to begin but will try.
1) I think I can be far more confident that there was no sticker on the bag my shirt was in than he can that he stuck a sticker on every single one of several thousand shirts.
2) No I wasn't accusing him of lying merely trying to highlight the above point.
3) I think implying the customer is a liar is simply appaling customer service.
4) Apparently the stickers were on there as they had similar issues with same material last year so firstly why are we still using it and secondly if this was the case why could correct washing instructions not of been put on label this year.
Quite frankly I am furious at the appalling quality of the product and the customer service I have received. The club have just had one strongly worded e-mail expressing these views.

| Kinda wishing my design was the one we had now. The promise the original pictures has faded and I'm not even considering trying one of the new tops on. Not for me. Especially at £45.
