I went along today (and bizarrely, a Stalybridge fan tried to start a row with us, unprovoked- apparently he didn't approve of me wearing a RL top at a football match). Not bad for seven quid, and the bar is nice.

why do they not move to Victoria park and use the athletics enclosure-it is enclosed has a nice stand and I beleive has good changing facilities, also a large (if unpaved!!) parking area

I went the Garfoth game, had loads of witty songs about Gazza, I turn up and their fans/board tell us they've not seen hide nor hair of him. I had to make do with "Where's yer Gazza gone" when they were 3-0 up.
On the bright side, I got to change ends at half time, like a real fan.

We played Garforth the previous Saturday and they were convinced Gazza was ready to arrive. Weird. Hope you'll be coming to Leigh-Town now that you're a fully fledged "barmy army" (cringe) member  |
