wrong shade of blue. and not primrose

I'm not sure my checkered flag will be primrose exactly, nor is the ink in my tattoo (probably) hence I've been careful to state "yellow and blue".

I know it was a joke, but anyway a Sweden flag is too distinctive. A Ukraine flag on the other hand...

no i know, not being pretentious or anything but i thought meself last year about the swedish flag, its just doesn't look right,

much like the current blue and yellow in our homeshirt, that doesn't look the right blue to me either.

My checkered flag arrived today. Exactly as it says on the tin for four quid. Sound.

I'm thinking of getting one. Primrose and Blue Union Jack with Warrington RLFC on it.

I've had flags made my Barmy Flags previously and they may be a little expensive but you get what you pay for I suppose.

They've made them for Wigan, who raised funds to get them done and they put them at the top of the stand. Personally don't like this or Wigan for that matter but have a look on Barmy Flags page on facebook (you dont have to be a member) they have a massive gallery to gain some inspiration.

I too think the load of English flags with millwall slogans, sculls etc look a bit naff so I'll hopefully get something sorted int he next couple of weeks. 3 strips, yellow/blue/yellow and unsure on text as yet!

Also, designed a DIY, 1-Off should we get to Wembley!!

Embarrassing. I admit it looked quite good but banners and flags should always be done by fans not clubs themselves.

Wigan flags look like a rip off of the Manchester Utd ones.

The Wigan flags were designed & paid for by the fans. Nothing to do with the club.
I think the poster meant that barmy's have done them for us (not the club)

Do they support United? Very very similar.

Most of the lads involved support Liverpool or United.
Given that we share the same team colours as those clubs you'd expect some similarity.

Fair do's but the words are similar. I myself attend every game I can between Warrington for Liverpool home and away so I see the Utd flags just thought they looked very similar.

One or two but most are unique references to Wigan i.e. Northern Soul, Verve song titles, even George Formby. I actually think that it's Liverpool we've copied the most, particularly with the slogans and links to past glories.
