The train from Warrington to Manchester is £6.80 return and the tram to Weaste is about three quid I think.
I live a lot closer to Salford than I do to Warrington so it's slightly cheaper for me.

If you do get the tram make sure you buy a ticket - they have been clamping down a lot in the last few months and are always doing random checks so if you want to avoid the £100 fine buy a £2.20 ticket. |
