I thought it was a decent, hard game....However, if I was a Leeds fan I'd be worried by how little imagination there is from their half backs. McGuire & Burrow are so predictable that it is frightening...Without Sinfield on the pitch, they look like little boys lost.

I don't know how many times I was screaming at the telly to just show a little bit of flair and try a chip over the top of the blanket Melbourne defence, but one dimensional Leeds couldn't do anything but simply try and get Senior to stampede down the left wing....Yes, it may work at Super League level, but against that defence you have no chance.

Any self respecting Super League opposition would have seen tonight that the solution to beating Leeds is simple....Nail the skipper and the rest falls into place. Wire, Wigan & Saints should be rubbing their hands together in glee at this tepid display.

Your right, we are that easy to beat. And I bet Wire would have won this game easily.

Good, hard intense game of rugby. Nothing in it. My only disappoint with Leeds is that they didn't muller Finch.

Inglis looked sort of out of shape to me somehow, Widders'esque.

Your right, Leeds cannot win without Sinfield as he is our only decent player. And yes being two points ahead 5 games in means you are a far greater team and has ruled us out winning anything this season.

I was not saying Wire, or indeed any Super League would have won, what I was saying was that the lack of imagination from your half backs would be a tad worrying if I was a Leeds fan.

I was also pointing this out, because there were a few people on here who seem to be of the opinion that Leeds winning another Super League title is a foregone conclusion...After last night's display and your stuttering start to the season I really would beg to differ.

I would suggest that keeping Sinfield fit is of paramount importance to you, because your 6 & 7 are someway behind the quality of both Warrington's, Wigan's and a fair few others in Super League when it comes to actually being able to create anything that would worry an opposition's defence.

He looked in similar condition at the beginning of the last campaign JWP.

I reckon he puts on a lot of weight during the off season, and then gradually slims down throughout the year. Come October time he'll be streamlined and slicing through the English defence for fun.

As for the game itself, not sure what the Leeds fans are moaning about as the best team on the night won IMO.

Would be great to see us in this next year, against Melbourne or someone like Parramatta. Hopefully we'd get a bigger crowd than Leeds managed as well.

HUGE IF.....but lets dream for a moment. To get more than the 27.5k Leeds got, which I think is very respectable, where would you suggest that, if warrington were super league champions, would the game be played?

Spot on! Watkins bombed both tries in the corner, Donald would have finished both with ease.
