Do you know why we let Sinfield play for Leeds on Friday? It would have been a disaster if he got injured for leeds and missed all our season. I assume his signing will be announced in the Guardian on Thursday ready for our season to start.

Since when were you a mod Latchy?

It makes me laugh that you talk of derailing threads, yet you are talking about the lock position on a full back thread. Baffling.

I've made one comment in reply to somebody that was on about the LF position, it's hardly a complete change of subject is it and I'm not pretending to be a mod just giving him some useful advice

Yea ill give you that just not sure he's up there with Brent Webb, Clint Creenshields and Brett Hodgson in what i think is a vital role within the team.

To be honest, it seems that every position on the field is becoming a key position, even the interchange players are considered 'key' in changing a game. As nice as it would be to have the league's top players in every position, sometimes you have to accept a lesser player for the strength of the rest of the team. Mathers isn't poor by any means, I'm happy with him, we could improve but we could be doing much worse. We have a committed player who the coach likes a lot, that'll do me.

Mathers is 'value for money' isn't he. You want an explosive fullback who can do special things, pay the cash, but it'll take a serious chunk of your cap. You want a bloke who'll give you 100% every day that he wakes up, and do the best he can, you get Mathers.

Reardon wasn't value for money for us. Now, on a small deal, as a winger for Bradford, I actually think he could be a decent under the radar little signing, it's all relative.
