| Its not a bad signing. As others have said, we have youngsters coming through. None of whom are capable of doing a full season. Solomona isn't capable of doing a full season. Put them all together and you have a full season. Solomona on his day is one of the best. If we sign him we will pick and choose the games he plays in. Expect him to play better in those games than he would do if he was expected to play a pivotal role in the team week in week out. Cooper has done very well this season coming in midway through when we have suffered injuries. If we had gone into this season without Rau would he have been able to do it for the full season. I think not.

| There's alot to like about Solomona and things that i'm not too keen on. All that said, if he's still got the desire, well, who's to say he won't improve like the other 95% of our squad have under Smith.
The one thing that I do like is that he carries a threat every time he touches the ball, granted, he has his days when it just doesn't come off, but he's one of those players who just can't relax with, never assume the ball is dead etc, I think there's a place in our squad for that, with our support play improving now, and say Myler on the second phase.
If he does come, he'll come with my blessing, simply because I know that Smith will be all about attitude, so he'll make sure that he has the right one before agreeing any deal.
The 12 mth extension he gave to Vinnie, which many on here questioned, he made reference to Vinnie offering alot to the side both on & off the field, this was visable on Saturday with his 'Power up' after he scored, it's about attitude first for Smith, so all new signings i'm sure will have to pass his 'test' first.

Loved that. "FERKIN' POWER UP, BOYS!" Young Tyke was as giddy as a kipper by his side. That enthusiasm passed down to a young player is invaluable.

I've adopted it as my official random call at work. Absolutley blinding. Thought it was awesome, and is EXACTLY what senior players are there for.

| I imagine he'll be somewhere in between Fat Feka and Ali Lautiti-esque in his play. Used in smaller bursts, a bit of a foil to Westwood's 80minute escapades, and running in channels, possibly with Myler up his fat, looking for the offload.

| 50/50 call for me as peeeps have said.
It could go either way, people have been to early to criticise in the past with so many signings. Hopefully, we will see the best out of him if we do sign him, al be happy with whatever TS choses to do.

| Atkins best form was when he was next to solomona. Since solo left; atkins has failed to improve on the early promise shown when solo was once at our club.
Solomona on his day can rip teams apart, has the best offload in SL bar none.
His injurys and weight would concern me if i was a wire fan, but if he gets fitter and on the rugby player you've a good player for a year.
Stop gap perhaps.
