Car to Darlington early Friday morning, then train to Kings Cross, staying 2 nights in Hotel in Chiswick. If we win it's early train back to Darlo then straight in the Car and home to Warrington to watch them bring the Cup back.

Aside from those already mentioned in The Guardian and on this forum, I know of a mate who's flying in from Melbourne, another who's flying in from Queensland and another couple coming back from New York.

The former has been in Melbourne for 3 years and has a secret slush fund put away in case Wires ever made a final. Fortunately his 6 and a half month pregnant wife was understanding when the situation actually arose! The latter two exiles have only been gone a few months and couldn't bare to miss out so are making special journeys.

Just goes to show what the lure of potential success can do when you've been so starved of it. Imagine Saints fans doing the same if they'd got to this year's final after all their trophies in the last decade? I think not.

Hopefully we'll be sick of winning in a few years' time. Possibly.

My daughter and fiancee will be coming from Brighton. It has so far cost me 2 x £51 tickets, and two shirts. Bloody kids!
