| We've sold over 9000 to season ticket holders on the first day. Add to that those that took the easy route via the RFL & there's 10K plus already.
That's with another day of selling to season ticket holders & joe public to snap the rest up this week.
20,000 should be the mark.

Monitoring outside for the people inside: |
|
| Anyone that wants to go should be able to get tickets. No pun intended but at work in Wigan, there are loads of people who have tickets but don't want to go now and are willing to sell quite cheaply.

It said in the RL press that each team is getting a 10,000 allocation but that's just for the club to sell. Go via the RFL, like I have done for Saints, and there are lots more available. A lot of tickets have been sold for some time (Wembley Wednesdays got rid of many of the cheaper seats up in the gods).
It's great to see you in the final. I'm prolly in the minority where Saints fans are concerned, but I really hope you win it. I'll be yelling at the telly for you on the day.

Cheers
We have sold over 9k at the club so im guessing they dont have many left unless the rfl give them extra, they will just have to go on the rfl site.

| Am I right in thinking that we`ll probably have most if not all of the east stand or will we be in blocks interupted by blocks of neutrals. Imagine what 20000-25000+ would look and sound like. Everton v Utd all over again. And on another note, how are Huddersfields sales doin? Will we get their tickets if they don`t sell?

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go

Your ground capacity is 25,032 and your current season average is 14,947.
Working that out, our average attendence is 80.86% of our ground capacity.
Your average attendence is 59.71% of your ground capacity.
So technically, Warrington are averaging more for home games than Wigan are by 21.15%.
Nice try though.'"
Are you being serious?
Technically does not matter, who cares how big the ground are? South Sydney play at a huge stadium and probably 10% fill it, does that mean London Skolars get bigger crowds?
We get higher gates than you, end of.
Saints at home is the biggest league fixture for both of us. You did not even get a capacity crowd for it in your small stadium, we got like 10,000 more and even if you take away saints away support we still got loads more. Seriously you have no argument about crowds.

Not even funny any more.
Back to the Wigan board
<<<<<<<<<<
I reckon we'll take 30,000. Loads of the people I'm going with have only been a few games all season. I reckon a lot of these casual fans (and I don't mean South Stand throwbacks dressed in Essex chav chic) will turn out for this one.
Now the Wire!

| Quote: odemwingie "When your averaging as many as we do for home games'"
I provided the stats to show that your comment was inaccurate.
Oh, and it does matter about ground size as it's relative to average attendences. Obviously we're not going to get a higher average, because our stadium holds less than yours. My stats show that our average is higher than yours relative to stadium size. Plus I guarantee that if Warrington had a 25,000 capacity stadium, we'd get an average of a lot more than 14,947.
Quote: odemwingie "Seriously you have no argument about crowds.'"
Whether I have an argument or not, it doesn't matter now. I've just blown your comment right out of the water and showed you how wrong you are.
