Thaler was the problem, Harrisons try was fine, it was Diskins choice to go for Clarke, no obstruction whatsover, and the Mathers grounding and MaGuire grounding were alsmot identical, even Maguire thought he hadn't scored.

Right, so thats a few blaing the ref and a few blaming the vid ref. Why is it only ever fans of the losing side that do it. You know when a team has lost you will come on here and one of 3 repetative things will be trotted out
We lost because of the ref.
the "Im not blaming the ref but" (then they go onto blame the ref)
The ref was cr@p for both teams guff (then they go onto blame the ref)
its so sad. |

A couple of very relevant facts from last nights game;
1/It is not the refs fault if a team drops the ball or loses position.
2/it is not the refs fault if a manager decides to play a halfback at centre and a forward on the wing.(exposed twice last night,from which came 2 tries)
3/It is not the refs fault if 1 team wants to play for 80 minutes and the other does not.4/It is not the refs fault if 1 team thinks twice in a match that the game is won and switches off
5/Sky games are notoriously dodgy affairs,where generally the rulebook goes out of the window.
6/Richie Mathers is not the great fullback,many make him out to be.Showed glimpses last night of his head starting to go again.
7/The gulf in class between Saints/Leeds and the rest,remains the same.'"
so ur saying we didnt play dor the full 80 mins. must have been watching a differant game to the rest of us  |

Nah, I just thought I'd make a post regarding the refereeing of the game on a thread about the referee, and for your info there are lots of threads started about refs when we have won. |
