Other clubs anthems have developed naturally over the years, I don't believe it is possible for an anthem to be 'engineered artificially' except in very very rare high profile cases (Three Lions for example).
Also, how many Wire fans do you think frequent this forum? I would guestimate at 100 regulars at the most, or in other words just about 1% of an average crowd. If every one of the 100, who would be scattered about the four stands, belted it out then the other 99% would look at them as if they'd lost the plot.

I wrote one about 4 years ago to 'We are sailing' very well received but couldn't get it to take off.
The best chants or anthems are the ones that happen sponteniously.
Lesley is a girls name, Marcus BiSexual, He's got a pineapple on his head all got going because people liked em and wanted to sing.
Having said that is the Leeds one pretty new as I can't remember hearing that 10 years ago.
