| Quote: stringers_wolves " hattons a lot better fighter since he got beat to mayweather, decent odds for a bet aswell as he aint favourite.'"
What exactly are you basing that on??.....His very unconvincing win over that Mexican journeyman, or his victory over the very over-rated Paulie Mallinaggi??
I certainly hope Hatton wins, but to be honest, he hasn't performed well since beating Kostya Tszyu, and you have to suspect he is on the downhill stage off his career.
Compare that to Pacaquio, who has plenty of decent names on his record, lots of good recent performances, and is seen by many as the best p4p fighter around.
Prediction??....Pac-man to cut Hatton to ribbons (literally)....Fight stopped in the last quarter of the bout.

| I think Hatton will win, he looks in good shape, seems to be enjoying working with Mayweather Snr, and I think he'll be too strong for 'The Pacman'.
I don't think it'll be a masterclass or anything daft like that, lots of action, lots of Rickys head getting rocked back, but he'll keep coming forward, and catch him flush in the ribs.
7th Rd I think.

You obviously didn't see Hatton Fight and KO Juan Castillo? that was after the Tszyu fight. I think the Paqciao camp are a little worried with Mayweather Snr training Hatton, they were pushing for Joe Cortez to be ref for the fight, the same Cortez who stopped Hatton from getting on the inside in the Mayweather Jnr fight. Pacqiao and his trainer Freddie Roach know his one weakness and Hattons main asset is that he's vunrable to body shots having been knocked out twice in his career by shots to the body.

| I honestly believe this will be one of the most fiercely contested fight's of all time. Both Pacquiao and Hatton have a similar attacking style, a trait certain to make a Boxing Classic.
The only time Manny Pacquiao has fought a boxer remotely similar to Hatton was against Marquez, who to many pundits was the victim of a wrong decision.
I think Hatton can win if he sticks to his attacking gameplan. If he tries to box from a distance, Pacquiao will be far too quick for him.
I'll make a prediction after the Weigh In - Always a good indicator of confidence.
ALSO - IF HATTON WINS ... SURELY A CHORUS OF "THERE'S ONLY ONE RICKY HATTON" WILL BE WARRANTED AT MURRAYFIELD?

| 50/50 for me.
I'm hopeful Hatton will win, if he he keeps pac-man on his backfoot and gets a few punches around the body he'l have a real good chance.
He will be easier to hit and not as fast as Mayweather.
C'mon Wikky!

| Hatton is undefeated at 10st and although Manny has won at every weight he's fought at, he has yet to fight at the 10st mark.
Sticking with Hatton on points.

Yes, I did, and if you think DeLa Hoya was past it when Pacquaio schooled him last time out, then surely you could spot that Castillo was in the has-been category for the Hatton fight??
Like I said earlier, I really hope Hatton can do it, but I just can't see him being able to nail Pacquaio down long enough to do any substantial damage to him, whilst in the same context, Hatton is very easy to find, and land punches on.
Can see first 6 or 7 rounds being very close, with Hatton possibly having a lead, but as the fight wears on I think Hatton will begin to ship too many hurtful punches, and I just fear those old scars around the eyes might play their part.

This sounds very patronising, and I apologise straight away for being so, but its obvious you know nothing about the subject, so its maybe best to not say anything?
