Could do, Buy a warrington shirt and get in free?
Did anyone get tantelised by the free flags offer????
Free ticket for those who pay to watch the liverpool reserves'"
we did that vs Celtic but we mysteriously ran out of cheap tickets on the Saturday afternoon although we never filled the ground or opened the West Stand

| I think you've got to target the kids through the schools. I know some work goes on by the community team but obviously not enough. If 1st team players went to all the primary schools to give say a 15 minute assembly then gave out "kids free with a paying adult" voucher along with a well designed, colourful leaflet with loads of info about the ground, matchday experience, fixture dates, website etc.....then parents would be able to make a more informed decision and be a bit pressured by the kids. All parents of primary kids know too well how many leaflets they get in their homework folders. 1st timers or reluctant parents need to know what to expect and be comfortable with the prospect of taking their little angels to a rugby match. They may assume that it's not really child/family friendly.
Cheshire Jets basketball team take it a step further by running free coaching sessions in schools then giving out free tickets for all their home games.
I also agree that poster/press campains should be much more prominant.

I was going to post that, Leeds season ticket holders can take a guest to one game during the season. I don't know about any restrictions on which game although my mum's husband is a season ticket holder at Leeds so I can ask him. It's a good idea though.
I wasn't aware 'babes in arms' were free, as far as I knew (info from a Wire fan with a 2-year-old) you have to pay concession price for a seat for H&S reasons. If babies do get in free that's great but the stadium doesn't allow pushchairs or car seats in the stadium.
There definately should be more promotion and free tickets with the local school kids, RL is a big sport in this town and it's not promoted nearly enough. Just being aware of the sport isn't enough. Kids go home asking their parents if they can go to the match at the weekend the answer is usually 'no', especially in these credit-crunch times. However if kids go home asking with a couple of free tickets, that makes all the difference. People love feeling like they're getting something for nothing, even if it they end up having to pay in the end.
Merch-wise the shop could definately improve to allow supporters to do their own promoting. The afore-mentioned window stickers are a good idea as are an increased clothing range for women and children.
The club trying to get their mechandise into more shops is a good idea too. Asda in town has a good range of what the store stock and it opens up visibility of the club to people who wouldn't necessarily go to the club shop. Also it would be useful if other outlets sold match-day tickets and therefore promoted the games.

| The only place you can buy Wolves stuff is in the shop & on line (haven't seen anything in ASDA lately). What about selling foam hands & other stuff outside the stadium on the South side on a match day, I seem to remember they did that for the Johns games & made a fortune

| ASDA in Westbrook has a good selection of stuff you can get.
Agree with the bumper stickers. The only thing you can really get for a car is car flags and mini kits. What happened to the car-scarfs and the big stickers and stuff

It's there, it's down the kids aisles as it's mainly stuff for kids.

Clearly with eyes down then.
One compliment to the website. They have finally put up a profile for Richard Mathers on the team page. Glad to make him feel welcome...

| The pre match and half time entertainment used to be pretty good now its none exsistant..
Get a decent singer or group on before the game..
Bring back the half time kicking comp where a fan from Wire and a fan from the visiting team take part i thought that was quite good...
Get a good looking and more professional cheerleading troupe..
And lower the beer prices credit crunch and all that..
