| Quote: Teddington Wire "phil clarke predicted catalan last night. is he getting as mental, or is he right about them having the best centre combo, and the best front row in the comp?'"
I think Phil Clarke & his trolley have parted company.
Interesting to hear Clarkes comments "The team with the best front row wins it".
Immediately following Walters "To win it the stats show the team that organised their defence wins it".
Hull look to be dark horses on viewing all teams.

If that is the case with a rotation of Morley, Rauhihi, Wood and Carvell with Higham at hooker we will win SL at a canter.
Funnily enough I thought RL was a 17 man game!

[quote="Rogues Gallery":xjc47q2r]Wire - the enigma. They could finish top or eighth, who knows.[/quote:xjc47q2r]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_7749.jpg |

"Dark Houses" in a Desert Orchid kind of way?
Finished 12th last year. They have replaced Carvell with Moa, Wheeldon with Maloney, Sing with Calderwood and Dykes with Thorman.

| Schofield in RLW has us in 6th. He also thinks Salford will finish last and probably won't win a single game. "I've got little faith in their coach, Shaun MacRae. while their captain, Robbie Paul, is a few years past it."

Im very glad that we didn't appoint MacRae.
He is very over rated as a coach.

Here's the BBC with an article on SL, runners & riders. The Salford part is of interest, Parker was 'fed up' with where he played.'"
He was never really that better at second row to be honest.

thats the opposite of what was said when he left, that he wanted to play in one particular position rather than lock, 2nd row or prop, basically fitting in where was needed.

Bollox, Parker was disposed of to make room for Carvell.
The decision wasn't his.

I think he's the BBC's new RL correpondant, he seems during the article to be keen to let you know that he has sources & knows the coaches & players well etc, he uses nicknames and stuff like that as if to emphasise this.
