I liked the look of Rhys Evans at centre when he first broke into the 1st team.
I'd like to see him back there at some point, depending on the form of the rest of the players.

This is familiar territory for Grix. Despite being one of our best and most consistent players, after a few months out injured fans on here start claiming he is crap and should be packed off to Widnes.

He'll be straight back in the side when he is fully fit, as will Atkins.

Grix, Atkins and Evans would get into the team in front of Laithwaite, King and Ormsby

Agree regarding grix he is such a good player that when fit he plays, just wish he could stay fit for a prolonged period.
Wheeler is not good enough in my eyes he is just too weak defensively

Wheeler would go great in the championship, he'd be a great brierly or McNally

He could be a decent super league player if he could string a run of games of together without being injured

I can't wait for Grix to come back, he would always be in the team for my money

For me, Grix, Atkins & Evans should all be straight back in to the team.
Plus this would give others like James Laithwaite who has played nearly every game a short break.

Atkins shouldn't be, Toby is earning his spot at the moment, Atkins should have to fight to get his shirt back after being complacent for too long.

spot on this. Atkins future should be in the pack and i hope the current situation forces the issue. Grix is a definate starter for me.

Grix's career has been blighted with injury - and some really nasty ones too.
He's come back time and again, and when he's ready he'll be in the 17.

King has done a good job but I'm pretty certain Ryan will come staright back in when fully fit.

Ormsby had a good match against Leeds, but Penny has done nothing wrong, and there's also Russell and Evans. Quite a few choices at wing now.

Must have missed the Grix bashing thread...... He's pretty well thought of by most fans.

Such a shame his injury record is so bad (and some serious injuries too). Says a lot about the way he keeps coming back just as good.

Grix will have missed over half of this season and importantly, all the pre-season training. I can't see him coming straight back into the side, in fact I worry what sort of player will return. I suspect he will be gradually introduced with the objective of getting him fully fit for 2016 the main objective. Just look at how Bridge has struggled after losing some of his pre season.

As for Atkins, I think Ducky has it right for once, TS will probably have him straight back. Smith always gets his 'chosen few' straight back into the side after injury and rests his youngsters after a string of a few games. I assume the youngsters will have a video review of their matches and some homework to practice in preparation for the next stint.

Didnt we get a bit of stick from other fans for not producing home grown talent? Im sure they have got egg on their face now!

Patton, King brothers, Philbin, Laithwaite, Ormsby, Currie just to name a few.

I think TS will definately bring in Atkins, King has done nowt wrong but for SL experience i think Atkins will slot back in. Grix would be a big boost to us, hoping he hits the ground running and has turned his injury woes around.
