He's given you his opinion, isn't that what you wanted?
BUT. I agree. I think he's great to watch and can be fantastic off the cuff but I wouldn't have him anywhere near here. There are major major flaws in his game. However, I think it's a fantastic signing for Wakefield and could be crucial in keeping them up - potentially at the expense of Bradford.

| i would have quite liked to have seen him... we are crying out for a HB with a running game.
We don't currently have anyone that can take on the line and go through it... he would certainly have given the opposition something else to worry about.

| Jarrod Sammut lol
Bit of truth for you people, if Jarrod sammut was any good, then he would've signed for Leeds already, that's the order of events usually in Yorkshire

| Sammut can only be a big fish in a small pond. Like Chase and Tim Smith.
They wouldn't work well with expectation.

| I like him. Fearless and go forward. Unlike our forwards on Thursday night.

| Jarrod Sammut????
We've only played one game. And the doom and gloom merchants are in full force if he is the answer to our problems.
Currently I think we are abouts where Saints were 2/3 years ago.
No chance of winning anything but are blooding in quite a few youngsters.
I'll take not winning anything for a couple of years if it gives the likes of Currie, Evans, Ormsby, Laithwaite, Riley etc.... A chance to develop into the players they have the potential to be.

This for me. I would love nothing more than to see even a couple of our young players make a real step up this season and I would be happy with a good but not great season if that happened.

Richie Myler - player of the season last year until injured. Would have walked into the England squad.
Stefan Ratchford - similar skill set to Sammut, just far more reliable.
Gareth O'Brien - far more reliable than Sammut, organises the team, great kicking game.
Sammut - one or two moments of inspiration every five or so games. Five or six big errors every other game.

O'Brien needs more game time before i judge him to be a good HB.
And as much as i like Ratchford i doubt very much he'd make more breaks in a game than Sammut would.
