Tony Smith settee could get us to the grand final and I have always believed him.

one thing i haven't seen mentioned in any thread yet, riley covering and putting makinson into touch after fooking up that bomb at the start of the second half, that kept us in the game. it was momentous.

Wasn't that Atkins and Hodgson?

thought i was riley, not seen the game back, but whoever it was, it was a game saver.

It was Atkins' speed that cut him off, then Atkins and Hodgson together that got him into touch.

I think a lot of the praise has been rightly given out, but while I'm here it's worth saying that Atkins had his best game for ages, his run and pass for Trent's first try was outstanding.

all the fans that turned out also deserve a call the atmosphere was rocking and when the lads was playing towards us in the 2nd half im sure that would of lifted them

Tony Smith has just transformed the culture of the whole club into a winning culture...And i can't praise Lee Briers enough, class performance once again...

Atkins had his best game of the season, he was back to his very best.

No they were in the 1st half, it was Chris in the 2nd. Both were try savers.

So where do you start with the praise ?

Well obviously the answer to that question is start with Simon Moran, then work down to Steve Broomhead and Andy Gatcliffe.

These are the guys that are making sure all the right things are in place.

Shout out for David Plange who signed a young Ben Westwood when there were lots of question marks around him.

What a turnaround, remember how crap we were playing this time 4 years ago?

Lee Briers, like us all, has made dopey life calls and mistakes but wants to be a hero, I want him to get his dream next week.
And Tony Smith, he has flaws, dont we all, but without him we wouldn't be here.

Tony Smith is the top & bottom of it all. That' where it starts, and having the conviction to ruffle the feathers of all the above on occasion to get us here.

You have to thank Simon Moran above all else, as it's his support and backing of the club that has allowed everyone else to pull it all together over the last decade or so.
