| But we are a family sport and pride ourselves on mixed terracing so there should not be any issues in the West.

We will probably have 50 stewards in the ground on Friday, 49 of whom will be in the West. Which is probably why they have run out of places.

| I will be keeping well away from our web footed friends from Widnes - although restraining myself from celebrating wildy when we hit the 50 point mark may be difficult!

| They may have hung the 'Sold Out' signs, but it wasn't a sell out in real terms, current capacity is 15,200. Was it just a case that they didn't want too many wire fans in the West stand?

| There was space where I was in the West for a good few more fans. There was also trouble near me with drunken Widnes idiots & Security (they weren't stewards) that left one young Widnes lad in tears - what idiots....

| A girl fainted just near me in the South Stand. Hope she's okay. Was very busy but enough room, just. Don't think you'd fit many more in the South. Shame it's not bigger. You could certainly extent the terrace so it goes back as far as the concourse wall on the outside (see here on the left hand side of this lie for what I mean, see the step of the stand?coukd easily be made into a square so the terrace could go back)https://www.webbaviation.co.uk/sports/gallery2/d/2920-2/WarringtonWolves-ba16857.jpg" >

I was also near her - hope she was ok although I expect she was as I saw her (what I think were) family still at the game at half time.
Fully agree about the extension although doubt it can be justified unless we get 15k plus 5-6 times a season and think that should have been done before the corners but obviously the cost would have been much greater.

| Well, if we lose a couple of matches I am sure the problem of ground size might quickly disappear. But the problem for me is the West stand. It's capacity is at least 3,200, but that number of away fans will only rarely turn up. And it certainly doesn't look great when the cameras pan around the stadium either. I don't suppose the club would consider it unless we fill the ground this year, but one option might be to fill in the NW corner with seating and also include part of the West with it. That would probably cost 5-600K based on what we did with the other two corners. The corner would add around 650 seats plus 350 from the West would make an extra 1000 places - ideal for our world club game next February (cough).

| Btw seems that the idiots stayed away, we met plenty of good Wids and I believe there were no arrests made whatsoever. Good to see everyone getting along.

| Yeah I didn't see no trouble.
Dennis Betts came in the Kings Head afterwards too chatting and having his photo took with Wire fans. Seems a decent bloke. Fair play to him for going in there full of Wire fans.

| Dennis Betts came into the South Stand pre-game (prob about 14:30 or so) chatted to a few fans and then went on his way. Then just before the game he walked under the stand to take his match position and got a few boos but he pointed at Kevin Brown and said "must be for him"!
Seems like a sound fella!

Funny how he was allowed in but afterwards I was with a family of 4 Widnes fans ( 2 were kids) and was told they could not come in unless they took the shirts off. Pity the cretins on the door thought it was side splitting to try and belittle a bloke with his Mrs and kids.....Safe to say we won't be ever going back in the hole again.
