| Alot of daft suggestions on this thread. Scott Grix is the only really plausible one so far. You can't really suggest anyone who has previously played to a high standard. Or really any youngster who is only just breaking through.
Surely it has to be someone who has been around for at least a full season already and never really stood out consistently but is doing so now.
Luke Gale is my additional suggestion to Scott Grix.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

He was the main guy I was referring to when I mentioned Harlequins.

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

| By SEB's definition not a most improved player ( as he's just breaking through,) but has any one else seen Paul Johnson's stats at Wakey?
I know stats don't tell the whole picture but based on those he's having a cracking season!

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |
|
| P.Johnson first full season. Played every game at prop. Scored a couple, been solid as a rock and charges it in with some meaning. Has a look of Graham at sts for me and one to watch.
Also Moriano signed from hull kr played handful of Sl games. Cemented a starting spot scored 5? Trys and probably signing of season at wakey ( in negotiation for new contract) both british!
From other teams. .
Grix as when he left wakey he was an average Joe master of none player.
Looks to have come on leaps and bounds and found his position.

Would imagine the vultures will be circling for Moriano and Johnson.

| Dont remind me.
chris Dean another top lad along with Murphy, howarth. Be sad if the vultures get an opportunity to swoop. Lot of good young Brits now at wakey and they have done the club proud on field and are developing well. Enjoying this season thoroughly so far.
Back to topic. Has to be Grix.

Joe Arundel ( not most improved but easiest been the best young player in SL so far , phenomenal defence and not a greedy centre)
Kirk Yeaman
Tom Briscoe
Craig Huby
the list goes on ...
Is there a thread for best newcomer ?
