Briers has given more to Warrington on the field than Nat Wood ever did and as I say, I've nothing against Nat Wood. I just ain't gonna let personal dislike for any player to cloud my judgement. Problem is with a few on here, they do exactly that.

I would say that most of our players try their hardest. I don't buy that it is lack of effort in the main that tis our problem.

Anyone who suggests the likes of Riley, Higham, Morley etc. do not put 100% in aren't that knowledgeable about the game.

As soon as a team has a bad run, it is always put down to effort, when there is a lot more to it than that.
