All im saying is it's not really that long since Wakey and Wire were on a par, would hate to see Wire fans end up becoming insufferably arrogant as they all stand round patting each other on the back a la Wigan.

It's a tipping comp though, this season and the last we've been pretty good and unfortunately for yourself your club hasn't, it is very very lucky that it isn't playing Leigh or Featherstone this weekend. If we go crap again i'll just make my prediction Wire by 4 points instead, it's not arrogant to say you're good if the facts support it, equally if the facts support you being crap is it arrogant to quote them or is there an unwritten rule saying we must not say anything. I'm nothing like a Wiganer, they don't mind 13 crap teams and one fully professional team, i on the other hand would prefer it if Wakey were a decent side giving us a tough test and in the running for the title along with all the other teams and turning SL into the most competitive game in the UK.

Oh no I think anyone who knows anything about SL will be able to tell you that we will get spanked, but feel all the "you're a bottom 5 club, you're crap, get your head out the sand..." is unneccesary. We all know we are a bottom 5 club (at the minute) but like I say, only an arrogant Wigan-esque type of fan would feel the need to start gloating about it now their team is doin ok.
But yeah deffo lookin forward to the game, always enjoy a trip to Warrington  - just hope we don't get tonked too badly! |
