Briers was very honest in his assessment of Lee Briers, especially when it came to questions about international football. Was good to see him say that he can only play how he can play and when he got overlooked, then so be it. Some people in that situation could come across as quite bitter, but Briers never.

Top bloke - honest, determined, bags of RL skill and knowledge
Proud to have LB at the Wire, I didn't really appreciate the effect of the setbacks that he has had to endure: his brother, the Nikau situation, the team around 2000 / 2003, the constant let downs. To come through it all and still perform like he does is stunning.
Best of luck to Lee for the rest of his career, maybe one day someone other than the P&B fans will recognise his achievements, skills and the cheeky way he plays the game.

What made me smile most during that was the shooting star Richie Myler. Showed his world class try and then just cut out J. Tomkins smashing his head in. I'm grateful cause it didn't look good when he did it and it hasn't got better on repeated viewings.
Except they show it later. That is disappointing.

Looked a little nervous and couldn't get some words out but i enjoyed it as i like lee briers.
I can see that bobbie goulding had big impact on his game, both cheeky and great rugby brains.
