| Our handling and passing is atrocious at times - and we can't blame a wet ball.
We still look disorganised in the opponents 30.
We still number up wrong in defence creating automatic overlaps for the opposition.
A few players are saving our blushes at the moment - we would be screwed without Hill, Ratchford, Charnley, Clark.
The lack of a goal kicker continues to cost us games.
Charnley's finish was unbelievably good.

I'd lay off the Harvey's Bristol Creme, old chap.
Can't remember seeing Hesford, Woods, Davies or Hodgson on the list.
Just Brown Patton Crosby and Philbin

Rubber forgets the opening games in the season where Patton played in the halves.

| For my sins i was sat in the big stand tonight where the scoreboard is (freebie) & ,in the first half ,Wigan were all over our defence with many more varied plays in their attack which made them more of a handful in the 10 yard zone, something the Wire can only dream about. Great to see tries from our wingers in the corner but completely useless if we can't convert them. We either need to get a proper goalkicker, get our utility goalkicker to practice to perfection or find an attack that can score tries nearer to the posts . Goals give you points & points make prizes but ,unless action is taken, i fear our silverware aficionados will be disappointed once again.

| Poor in attack again. Our forwards made
Ben flower look world class.
We do show resilience but lack leadership
across the park.

| Amongst the justified Roberts bashing, understandable goal-kicking debates and "what-ifs", one man stands unquestioned and aloof.
I give you Mr Akauola, who continues to turn sophisticated laziness into an art form. Take your pick from the two versions of the antipodean Rip van Winkle; the bench-dweller who turns up for inept 20 minute guess star appearances or the invisible man who starts games and dissapears from view faster than a Scotsman at an England world cup party.
I'm no Roberts fan, and I'm not yet convinced by BMM but Akauola looks ready to take his place in the hall of fame of quota grabbers who only break sweat when their missus hits the Trafford Centre.

| Good moaning everyone. Just to sum up: if we had the best players in the world and the best goal kicker in the world from any era, we would have won last night. Simples.

Good post and a perfect example of why fans should take no notice Youtube highlights.

I must admit, if he hasn't got a club to go back to in Oz you'd think he'd be pulling his tripe out to get a contract somewhere?
Or maybe Mr Sandow has tipped him the wink about a good job going in the mines?

Yes last week I said I would open up a topic in his name.
Nows the time.
