Quote: The Godfisher "Seeing everyone moaning and calling for heads on sticks is getting really boring now.

Does nobody else keep bringing themselves back to the same question?

1. When have we ever been all guns blazing in the first half of the season? Smith is not an idiot, he knows when to peak us, therefore I have full confidence in him that he will peak us come the business end.

Win tomorrow and we could potentially be third by the end of the day should results go our way and its all gravy on this forum again.

This has happened every season since 2012 where we have not performed at the start well enough at the start, wait until the pitches dry up and their will be some serious servings of humble pie.

That is all...'"

But since we've been good, getting in he top eight is all we've had to do. Now we have to get into the top four. It's very different. Last year we finished fifth, that wouldn't be good enough this year.

Yes there's a long way to go and we are actually only two points off fourth but there are a number of teams who look well ahead of us in all round quality. Look at the half backs at Catalan HullKR and Salford, all six would walk into our team. Look at the in-play kickers Saints have when fit (Walsh Wilkin Burns Roby and Turner) while we have nobody with a decent consistent kicking game, not a single player. Look at the pace Wigan have throughout their team, we don't have more than three or four players with pace...

I reckon we'll be fighting for the top eight with Hudds Castleford and Widnes.

"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround." An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42181.jpg

Clark is probably waiting for one of your absolute pudding forwards to get him a quick play of the ball. Fancy not starting him against his former club today too!?! I know Micky higham is well thought of but Clark ain't much use kicking his heels. 22 years of age and on the wrath of some wire fans. I can't spake. Trust me he will come good for you. I think most of the supporters have realised Clark isn't in the same class as Mick Monaghan.

We were spoilt by his match-winning ability and vision.

Most people on this forum wrote Mick Monaghan off in his first season and a half. Same will be true for Clarke.

Mick Monaghan was not playing in his best position of hooker when he first came to Warrington.

Cullen persisted playing him in the half back role and it was only when Smith came in that he was moved to hooker.

At the moment Wire aren't playing to Clark's strengths.

Monas was shoe-horned in at half back after not having played there for over two years, by genius Cullen. So not really like for like comparison is it?

Monas was signed to play hb on the recommendation of the disgraced Andrew Johns, who had just let us down when his drug abuse because known.

Clark seemed not to want to take his old team mate on and beat them, he didn't scoot once from acting halfback, it was just pick the ball up and pass. What has happened to the running hooker from when he was at Cas, at least Mickey Higham scoots for us and creates some pace and momentum from the play the ball, why wasn't he re introduced in the second half and run two hooker like Smith used to do last season with Monas and Higham on together which caused havoc. Could it be that Clark doesn't want to be here !!!!!!

The amount of times Clark and Higham before receiving the ball were looking left, right, left, right....I thought they were auditioning for the return of the Green Cross Code adverts.

Wire fans tend to write off a lot of new signings. King, Monas, Lima, Rauhihi......
