I also said send him back home. But cull was playing him at 7 with briers at 6 and clarke at 9. Now smith has come in and can see what he can give to the team from 9 he's got him playing in the right place. No hooker in SL is better than him IMO |

Most meters gained by any player on the pitch on Friday ( 160 ) and 2nd most tackles on the Warrington team with 32 and basically an intimidating prescence throughout.

Even up to a couple of weeks ago, Skybet were offering 10/1 that Westwood would secure one of the two 'dream team' second-row spots!
Unbelievably, he was the NINTH favourite for this Market behind the likes of Hoffman, J Tomkins, Wilkin, Galea and - wait for it - Weller Hauraki, Joe Westerman and Danny Tickle!
The 10/1 price was one of the best bets I have ever seen (he should be 5/4) and I (and many others who I know) have backed him accordingly.
I trust you Wolves fans have done the same?

Very intresting stat, and to think somebody made a comment on Totalrl.com about Morley's performance on Friday night as somebody who was "shot" at this level. |

Players might still find him intimidating but i never see him when there's a 'blow up' these days. When players are pushing and shoving around i'd expect to see him in the middle making his presence felt, it just doesn't happen anymore. similarly in years gone by Moz would have put a big hit on an opposing forward soon after any incident. That just doesn't happen anymore. He seems to have changed his game completely, no more Mr hardman penalty machine. |
