Rangers have been doing it for years, but instead of "We're gonna bounce in a minute" - which their Blues Brothers Chelsea (look it up) copied from Liverpool's old Torres song when they started doing it - Rangers sing, "If you cannae dae the bouncy you're a Tim". I am a Tim and won't be doing any bouncy.

The version some Warrington fans do - and started doing last season without turning their backs - is exactly what Chelsea do. The back turning thing was copied from Lech Poznan via Man City recently.

What difference does it make where a chant/song comes from? If you like it, you sing. If you don't, you don't. For my two penneth worth, if we only sang/chanted 'original' Wire-fan composed dittys it would be a very quiet stadium!
(For the record, I don't normally bounce but got carried away on friday night and thoroughly enjoyed it!)

I bounced and loved it . Wouldn't dream of turning my back on the game, but as I was at the front I did look back whilst bouncing and from where I bounced, it looked like everyone else was too

These kind of sad crowd activities only seem to crop up at successful clubs with bandwagon supporters. Ten years ago as if you'd have got pondlife corner or the Fletcher Street doing this bouncy Rangers thing. It would have been Bradford doing it in their Valley Parade days to Wooly Bully. I don't think it would catch on there now as Bradford seem to have distinctly fewer teenage girl fans with Robbie and Henry on their backs than they did ten years ago.

Next time can people do it without throwing beer around. Throwing a full bottle up inot the air to land on fellow Warrington fans is not big or clever.

are you sure it was beer. The toilets at that stadium can get pretty hairy at times.

Exactly. There was plenty of Saints fans to throw bottles at instead.

Or, just don't do it. Having to have police and stewards in amongst the crowd all through the game is not big or clever. It's embarassing.

By the popular response I must be one of very few who actually hate this chant?! And why turn your back on the game? If you don't want to see the game, don't go! Rant over
