Well i'm sorry i disagree with you , howcome we never see it in the media if it is so bad on every occasion? Because believe me The Hull Daily Mail would take great pleasure in reporting such an occurrence.

Also i attend every home game and do not hear or see it every game as you lead everyone to believe, apart from those few incidents mentioned. And as you say the incidents are also outside the HJ so that is just a one sided attack is it?

I have also been on the receiving end of having missiles thrown at our coach,(and ours is a family coach) but i won't mention which ground because as i said before it is a minority of idiots. I do not tie everyone with the same brush and and would rather support my team and put a few coffers into the away teams pockets.

All i can say is it a good job we (and any other travelling away support) do not have your view or your west stand would be considerably empty.

Quote: Natters "Dreary me.

You all bleat on about wanting to promote the good name of RL yet Celtic have brought nothing but shame and embarrasment on our game this year.

I wouldn't mind but they cant even field a competitive team.

Im not ashamed to say that I think this expansion nonesense absolutely sucks. RL belongs in the heartlands of the m62 corridor and I cant believe that clubs rich in RL history and tradition such as Oldham are going to the wall for the sake of stupid projects such as harlequins (been rescued more times than is healthy) and celtic.

Even Branson walked away from the harlequins cos he knew he was flogging a deadun.'"

Next time we play you at the KC put a Wire shirt on then come back on here and tell me how good your fans are?
My friend had his windows put through, probably because he had a Warrington car sticker. They then had the nerve to actually urinate in the car too.
Now 1st this was away from the ground and probably done by someone not at the game but the fact is people don't feel safe in hull.
You might have a whole stadium of well behaved fans but that doesn't matter when you have to run a gauntlet outside. A couple of hours drive, followed by paying for your tickets to then dodge bricks and drive back just isn't worth the hassle.

Yes i totally agree that is a terrible thing to happen to anyone, and like you say was propably done from some idiot that wasn't at the game.

But unfortunatly you can go into any City/Town in the UK and be on the recieving end of mindless thugs without a brain cell between them ( just watch the news) as i have found to my detriment, Hull is no exception.

Obviously you are not going to change your mind and that is your right so i won,t waste anymore ink.

Just remember there are plenty of decent folk in Hull that get ever so slightly miffed when you band us altogether as thugs.

Enjoy your 2010 season i,m hoping to and will even venture to the HJ.

i for one will never travel to hull again, i travel from mid wales for every home game and away to 5 or 6 games a season and have done for nearly 20 years parking in many different places around wilderspool and the hj stadium, being a proud welshman i have welsh headrest covers and 2 dragons on the parcel shelf and have never had my car touched once,
on my visit to hull last year i had my wing mirror ripped off and on my return home found sheep sha**ers scratched in to my bonnet.

reading this thread you would think you lot are bloomin angels! yes true we at hull fc have a few idiots, just like yourselves at warrington and every club, so please lets not have the hollier than thou attitude from you

you choose to forget your fans vandalised a bar at headingly after losing in the challenge cup semi final a few years ago

wasn't it wire fans who attacked a steward at the kc stadium in 2008? an unprovoked attack

also, we as a family and friends visit hj every year and find it one of the mos intimmidating venues to attend having to walk past the numerous pubs that are full of wire fans having a drink staring at you when you walk past, a friend of mine who was pregnant got verbally abused and threatened by wire fans at the game where there was trouble in 2008, the police told us to go back into the ground for our own safety, also 2006 after the play off game between the two clubs wire supporters threatend my same friend and my mum when leaving the ground, so please beforeyou throw any stones, make sure you have left the glass house first

Hul KR have probably the best set of fans in the league. In the 3 encounters this year they were all very friendly and very gracious in defeat. Especially after the Challenge Cup game. I just thought that was worth mentioning.

Remember being in a pub near the old boulevard a few years ago and the language, even by my standards was shocking and all this commotion about guns and this was from a women of about 70.

Also, spent an hour in the Sandringham by the station abot 3 years ago which was very very strange, what with being offereed a blow job in the gent and the womens being overtaken by a strange women listening to a small radio..... the place was wall to wall freaks.

When the Hull firm icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif came over a couple of years ago that was just a bunch of football knobs out to cause trouble.

There is an atmosphere at the KC but I think that can be said for the HJ especially for certain games.

Having said all that, I met a couple of cracking Hull fans when in Cardiff for MM and had a great time and still see them at the odd big occasion. Most fans are true supports of the game, the pond life will be pond life whether they got to the games or not.
