| I would love for Hull to upset the 'Northern' applecart and us to sneak in by the back door. Not only because it extends our season for another week (and who knows after that), but mainly to stick two fingers up to Eddie and Dave Woods who have both claimed Saturdays result has written off any chance of us making the playoffs.
As for whether or not we deserve a playoff place... Over 27 rounds we deserve to finish where we finish whether that is 8th or 12th.

I see what you are saying to an extent but I don't think Bradford deserve a play off place.

But on a serious note Bradford are playing better than we are in SL, we have lost 6 out of our last 7 games and imo don't deserve a play-off place and even if we fluked it and got in we don't have enough fully fit troops to do it justice and would be spanked in the 1st round, much better to bask in the glory of winning 1 out of the 2 major trophies on offer and re group for next season and let Smith have a full pre season under his belt and mount a challenge for the league next season !

| do you think bradford will get beat by hull next week?
i seem to think they will coz hull will want a winning performance for their last home game, and saints are pretty much guaranteed a win against catalans, so lets hope TS can get the team to put in a good performance

Harsh in the extreme. If they finished in the 8, they will more than deserve it, especially considering how down and out they were. Can't possibly begrudge them a play off spot, even if it is at our expense.

I think the question needs to be asked should a team as low as 8th be allowed in the play offs?
IMO no. It rewards mediocre performances. Some may say it gives teams in 9th, 10th and 11th something to play for as well but still Bradford and ourselves have had poor super league seasons so for either to get in the play offs and have a chance at winning the competition would seem surreal.

| If Hull get a draw then Bradford will be on 24pts with a difference of -18.
You're currently on -66, so a 49 point winning margin against us would be enough.
Anyone who doesn't think that will happen hasn't seen enough of Harlequins recently.
Just letting you know of all the possibilities
As for the possibility we might show a bit of fight after the Castleford result, well, that gave me a good laugh. I've been hoping this for weeks and the following week they're even bloody worse.

| I dont think us, bradford or catalan deserve the 8th place so who ever get it will feel very lucky and most likely will exit in the first week of the play off's

I dont get this statement - surely after 27 rounds of SL if you are the eighth placed team you deserve to be in the playoffs - whether you last past the 1st round or not is irrelevant.
Perhaps Celtic deserve to be there cos they are the only team from Wales or Salford cos they play in red or Hull cos it is unfair to have one Hull team and not the other!!!!

Wouldn't a Hull win, rather than a draw, make it a bit easier?
At least we'll know before Sunday's game.
