We need to seriously improve in the second half. Less mistakes and penalties and just be patient. We can break their defence when we have enough possession and territory. We knew they were going to slow us down, and we know Wigan and Saints can do it. We need to find a plan B.

That penalty try was farcical. The Catalan player was simply stood there hesitating and Currie had every right to contest that ball, which he did as fairly as he could.

Penalty try decision was appalling. Even if you say it was a foul by Currie - which I don't - there is no way you could say Catalans would definitely have scored.

I think it’s because the referee sent it up as a potential penalty try. It’s a silly rule. I would prefer just to have a specific couple of video referees and they get to decide without the on field call.
