Dodds came and Dodds went it is what it is, we now need to use the money wisely however much it is. Personally I don't see Ben Harrison being fit enough and/or strong enough after those injuries for top flight action, which will be sad.

He looked okay for Wakefield the other week. I thought he was on his way out but I sincerely hope not.

Underrated player.

Great player tackles everything at marker, I liked it when he used to smash people in almost every tackle, which probably was his shoulders down fall, any way I agree how disappointing it would be but I just feel he may be pushing his luck.

I would think Cox and bailey leaving would be to try and get rid of the "Idiot Element"

If only the Mods could do that on here, then here could be bliss .

To be more charitable. I would guess that it is to do with the injuries that both have been prone to. Cox has some huge collisions and some of them have ended up with injuries to himself ... the club must fear for his health. Bailey seems to have had lots of injury problems.

It's sad he never got the chance to show what he was capable of. I'm happy that he remained with the team thru the season and hope he got the best possible care and rehabilitation.


I hope Harrison can come back from his injuries he played well when watched playing on loan.

I would not class Westwood or Harrison as traditional props.

Harrison has been given a testimonial so he's going no where. Got told we did try to buy him out of his contract but because he was granted a Testimonial he said no thanks. I like him and defensively he's very strong and plays good minutes. People keep going on about his injuries but that's the whole point of him having the surgeries and having the long rehab. He'll be sound next year and I welcome him back in to the pack. Cooper and if Crosby does sign we have a much better bench for next year then we had this year so I don't get what the panic is all about?

Grix had a testimonial whilst not playing for us. That doesn't mean anything.

He was, but he was still employed by the club. If Harrison isn't playing for us next year he will be playing next year in Super League for someone else.

Has there ever been a player playing SL that has had a 10yr testimonial, but been playing for a different club during his 'testimonial' year? I know Morley was granted a 3 month testimonial based on his service to Rugby League, but this would be very different.

The tone of the interview in the Guardian was such that I would have extremely surprised if he wasn't playing for us next year.

But he wasn't a player and that role was concocted as he was still under contract. Bit like his Wakefield 'loan'.

That Guardian article was a bit odd about Harrison, at no point does it clearly indicate if he will be part of the squad. But by being in the media you would suspect he would be?
