Complete disbelief he's the only KR fan with five fingers on one hand.

| Our fans seem to be terrible for moaning at the ref lately, particularly for shouting offside! Perhaps we could have a consolidated copy of the law book on the back of the song sheets?

I think all clubs are the same regarding offside. Especially when starting a set on the 10metre line, despite the fact it is usually just good line speed by the defence.

| Apologies for a slight thread diversion as hate is too strong a word, but' where i stand on the 40, we have the 'pleasure' of the biggest moaner I've ever come across in ANY walk of life.
80 minutes of pure rant, he even critisised the linesman's footwear recently as a late addition to a particular tirade on not spotting a 'forward' pass.
Good news is that he rarely if ever swears, not that I'm a prude and it wouldn't bother me now and again and he can occassionaly drown out 'The Whistler'

Nope, I disagree on this. The overall laxness of the refs to maintain something even approaching 10m at the PLB is woeful, especially as the game wears on.

I watched the match back on iPlayer last night and particularly enjoyed the moment where Briers was arguing with Bentham when we'd got pinged for offside - "What do you want?" begged Lee "We were back 8 metres" ........ maybe the rules have changed or going back 10 is optional now, though it always was for some teams.

Think that may have been Briers pointing out that Bentham was letting Hudds off with 8 metres, so why change it for us.

What doesn't help is the ref often stands further than 10 metres away, resulting in the players being infront of him and it looking like they are offside.

Perhaps in some instances, however it is the players slowly encroaching forward before the PTB that is the main issue, evident in pretty much every RL game....and hey, if they are getting away with it on a weekly basis why would they stop!

I agree it needs looking at, just offering a different view of things.

So ,why aren't the linesmen doing their jobs & bringing it to the ref's attention ?

| Of course, teams encroaching within the 10 and getting away with it strengthens the advantage of having a fast, elusive runner from dummy half considerably.
Step forward Mr Higham, sign here.

No Ganson's he's a relatively young guy in his mid 20's fashionably longish dark hair usually in a rugby shirt 3/4 the way up the yellow steps left on the west 40.
Not a lot to go off but he really does shout/moan for the full 80, usually eloquently. He was missing from the Cup game and far from get on my nerves I find myself 'marvelling' at his stamina and wondering how his mates/girlfriend puts up with him...it's not you is it? ha ha
