He'd be at home anywhere in the spine.
I for one can't wait...if I have any reservations at all, it's that we could become a team reliant upon him like Sandow and Briers.
I hope we get another top spine player to have depth.'"
who are you talking about again?

Since we broke the story on here last May, Roberts performances improved 2 fold.

| Luckily,Tyrone & his family have not yet been exposed to our usual "summer " weather of incessant rain, gales & floods. When that happens, his family might be on the first flight home.

| This is happening too much lately & highlights the need for a good youth & academy system in the UK instead of bringing in overseas players who may or may not hack it over here.

| He says he's 100% committed for the remainder of this season. Does anyone actually believe that? Another Aussie disaster story.

| Just my opinion but i think he'll give us a decent showing for the rest of the season, he's told us in plenty of time and at least he's seeing the season out.
Interesting to read TKL's article in the Guardian the other week about how he coped as a 19 year old on his own over here when he signed. We need more signings with his toughness.

| Shame about Roberts, although to be honest the Aldi-brand Vegimite is rubbish.

its all ballsed, we've tried that route with patton, despite him being pretty good in 2016 he's been naff at halfback since. People have mentioned this past week about signing trueman from cas, we tried that in the past with myler and look how that panned out.
I've got a debbie downer on me this morning, i've wanted all these roberts rumours to go away and for him to be the hero the wire fans want and haven't had since briers left, its a kick in the nuts.

See, this is the other thing thats peeing me off over this, most of us have watched this sport for 20 plus years, in that time, before say 3 season back, how many foreign players went back under the homesickness excuse? i can't think of any.
langer and Gee left under a cloud after DV2 was ousted, vagana went back cos auckland realised they'd made a massive bollock drop and took him back(and took tony tatupu as payment)

| oh kidwell did, he went back halfway through his second season, although to be fair it was amazing we'd managed to sign him in the first place, his partner supposedly wanted to go back to oz due to personal problems, though he conveniently had a contract at the roosters waiting for him.
