Indeed. A lot have moved on and stopped watching. Our average crowd is down 20% on pre covid levels.

From what I’ve seen of McGuire (which isn’t a massive amount, admittedly) he isn’t just ALL grubbery, he’s also got a handy side to his game as well. If he’s an on-field leader in terms of getting stuck in and uncompromising in defence, then I’ll take it. I don’t want to start a bring-back-the-biff thread, but remember when a team could get into the oppositions faces and put them off their game? We could really do with some of that now.

Who are we about to announce as our next/final signing for 2023, will it finally be Matt Dufty or someone else?
