Catalan have played 12 games and have 4 further fixtures scheduled, including Warrington on Monday. If they don't fulfil at least 3 of those, and given the COVID situation that must now be a real risk, then they cannot make the Playoffs. Assuming that Monday’s game is called off, and that Catalans can fulfil their remaining 3 fixtures, then it’s in our hands. We need to lose less games than Catalans or Leeds in the run in. If we lose the same number of games then we would have a higher win % than Catalans (who will play fewer games) and the same win % as Leeds who have an inferior points difference.

It would be nice if our friends from St Helens, for whom we have shown the greatest respect on this forum over the years, were to do us a favour by beating Leeds tonight, Catalans on Bonfire Night, then fielding a weakened side against us in the final game since they will have already clinched the LLS.

The covid rules are changing in France so it's likely to be behind closed doors if it happens at all.

Naturally I take a differing viewpoint that Catalans should be given the chance to get to 15 matches (especially after Wigan were responsible for the calling off last week not us), but it should be a decision for SL.

Been a tough year for Catalan, and be harsh on them not to make the Play Offs especially as the Leeds cancellation before lock down and the recent Wigan game cancellation was not of their doing. They were also affected more by cancellations early in the year due to bad weather.

Hopefully they can get to 15 games and they wont be excluded in that regard.
