I know on the day anything can happen but being realistic I expect us to be 4 points behind saints on the leader board after 2 games. I don't think we will see this saints team put the ball on the floor like they did at Wembley. We played well that day but that was a one off for saints. If Ashton plays full back I can see Saints putting him under far more pressure than Wigan did. The encouraging things from last week were we looked like we enjoyed defending (as much as you can enjoy defending) evidenced by a few short drop outs, they were far from percentage plays. We have realised that we need to back up every time clark and Walker look like they are about jump out of DH and we were offloading like the first few games of last season. If we do lose then i hope that doesn't knock the confidence as it wouldn't take much to end up like we were in the last few months of last season.

He has had surgery for a double hernia caused by having Jonny Lomax in his pocket for the full 80 minutes at Wembley last year.

The thing with RD is you can’t totally dismiss him out of hand as he does have flashes of insight...as well as getting it very wrong. Credit where it’s due, he certainly isn’t scared to put his head on the block (which is very brave for a duck, rubber or otherwise).

A broken clock is right twice a day, but yes RD is good fun. I just wish that if he has made millions from betting that he could share his tips on here.

No, he doesn't. He just predicts you'll win everything every time. With you spending more than any club on players since Moran arrived, it's inevitable that you'll eventually win something. If you do win SL this season people will claim he foresaw in, but in reality he predicted that for the last few years too.

The only way I'll be impressed is if you win the treble without losing a single game, which he's also predicted.
