Craig's brother-in-law is Lee Briers ... If true he didn't last long at Leigh.

He's not, believe me. He'd make a decent second rower, particularly as he ages and gets even bigger. He won't pass, simply never passes to his winger.

If we put him next to Jack Hughes nobody will notice. At least Atkins may get a reprieve for a while anyway.

In all honesty I wouldn't want us to sign a player unless we see a long term future for him at the club or its only until the end of the season. We don't want more of next years cap space unavailable due to opportunism.

Where's this rumour of a medical come from? Could be anyone at all if true, Luke page was mentioned awhile ago so could be another forward coming in? I completely agree that we need a bit more depth in the squad so it may be a utility player. Didn't someone say we still had 50k sat in the bank awhile ago?

I think it must have been a medical aimed at seeing if one of superstars was fit to play this week.
