We've stuck with the Russell, Atkins and Evans project long enough. time to clear the deadwood and give someone else a good go. if they proved to be equally as bad then we're only in the same position as were would be been in anyway.'"
This is very true. However it is also true that we let Blythe go once as he wasn't deemed good enough for us. I don't know if he improved with his stint in the lower divisions. I know the Bradford lot on here commented that he had not.

Whilst I might agree that it's not an inspirational signing as the consensus is that we are 'short' at centre I think that Blythe is a better proposition than Wheeler and he can cover at BR It isn't as though we've pawned the family jewels to bring him home from Bradford, building our team around him or expecting miracles every week?

No we have not spent a lot. We have just blown a season by going into it without sufficient strike power in the centres.

| Matty Blythe may not be the best forward or centre in the team but i am sure he will be a much better prospect than Roy Asotasi & a damn sight cheaper & spend more time on the pitch.

| The way I see it..
Wigan and Wire both have injuries
Wigan have won all their games and confidence is high..
Wire have won none and confidence is low..
Wigan are favourites for this game.
Oh and if we do happen to be winning at any stage, Eddie Hemmings will let us all know it's because of Wigans injury crisis..

I think that's something that we can agree upon, we could do with a top class centre and Matty Blythe's signing wasn't meant to satisfy that role

| Are there any South Stand tickets available for tonight or is it pay on the gate?
The website is next to useless.

I think the option to book online is withdrawn on the day of the match - so you will not find it. From what I saw of the bookings for seating in the N and E I would think that you should be pretty confident of getting a S ticket tonight, I don't think this is going to sell out. But you could always ring the shop and book ?
