Even if we made the final I think it would be a risk to bring him back.

Why? It's in the public domain on his twitter account anyway. "Rumour" was that he'd been sacked by the club but (again on his twitter) he's responded directly to say that its not true and that he's going nowhere.

Quite why the club have come out to explain his absence to the extent they have though is anyone's guess.

Same 13 as last week but with Gidley onto the bench. Shame we also couldn't put another prop on the bench though but with Harrison leaving, Bailey possibly injured but possibly not, Dodds due to leave and Cox being a bit rubbish we have no options.

Dwyer appears to be this years Hodgson and is on Smiths naughty step.

Shame if true about Dwyer enjoyed most of his performances since his return. Tony's naughty step must be the widest in SL now that everyone's new darling Tom's backside appears to be off it

So what is actually going on in the club then?

This season we've had Bailey misbehaving, Linehams attitude, Penny putting on weight, Dwyer out of favour, Sandow being sacked (all rumours / speculation I might add) but where are these coming from??? I'm a believer of there being no smoke without fire but seriously??

I think Thursdays game is our biggest since Wembley 2009.

We will be without Chris Sandow, Ben W & C, Dodds & Bailey. With question marks over the fitness of Gidley. The great teams of Saints, Wigan and Leeds always find that extra 5% that helps them overcome adversity & injuries & win trophies. To be considered amongst the great teams we have got to find that elusive extra 5%. In his post match comments from the Hull game Tony Smith said that prior to the game he told the team that attitude and desire would win the game and he was spot on. We now need to display that attitude and desire and overcome Saints because its that extra 5% that you can't train in or buy that wins games.

Well said FB. Our biggest enemy is thinking we have won a game & too often we let opponents snatch the result.
Saints are one of the best final whistle winning teams around.
