Very sad news. Unless you've suffered with mental health problems it's impossible to describe what a nightmare it is. Despite the many awareness campaigns (which are brilliant) they are still some who dismiss depression as a weakness in character rather than an illness. If anything is to come out of this tragedy hopefully these people will think twice before dismissing it. Condolences to his family and also to all of his many friends on here.

Can relate to this, had some very dark times myself but was fortunate to get the right support, I spoke to him a lot about seeking help, it seem many on here have also tried,just still so stunned about it, very sad indeed.

Totally shocked to read this. I never knew him personally or through FB but always felt his warmth as a person through his posts.

Few words that can be said. His input will be sadly missed from the board, it's strange how you take people for granted that you have never even met. RIP Wire Yed, let's hope the boys can give you a fitting send off this weekend mate.

So sad, I never met Steve but had communicated on and offline. He was always up for a good debate on here and would willingly help people. RIP

There's been depression, and post natal depression in my family, so I know how difficult it is for sufferers. It's also very hard for them to admit they need help.
