Quote: karetaker "It's why I buy from the RFL for all finals big games etc, you can pretty much choose from what's available.'"

I haven't bought a final ticket from the club since the 1995 Regal Trophy and I've been to every one we've been involved in since then. No idea why everyone doesn't just use the RFL website.

For those that haven't already bought their ticket, the RFL ticket page is really easy to use, you can choose where you want to sit using the "My favourite seat" option on the Challenge Cup page, and use this website www.mapaplan.com/seating-plan/we ... lution.htm to see where your seat will actually be.

I've sat in the Gods the last three finals, and while enjoyable I did feel a little bit out on the edge of the central support area, and it was a bit quiet up there, so have booked block 112 this time row 37 so hopefully right in the thick of the singing and cheering. Can't wait now icon_biggrin.gif

Could be a big crowd for this one - 10k sold by Hull in a couple of days, and that is without the ones bought through the RFL. I am sure you guys will pack out your stand as well and 2 sides with different colours will make Wembley look fantastic. Here's to some cracking weather for it and a few drinkies and some light hearted banter!

What a great link that is.....Block 110 Row 42 - 131,132 and 133. Looks like a right result.

Bb - thanks for the link. I've been unsuccessful for years in trying to find this level of detail. Why ticket master and Wembley don't do this is beyond me.

Quote: B'wood Bob "I think that this ring of seats is Club Wembley and so won't get released for general sale. Always strikes me as a shame that there are so many of these seats unoccupied on game day, and the RFL should argue that Club Wembley complementary tickets shouldn't include the Challenge Cup final anymore.'"

The RLWC semi final was brilliant with a sold out Club Wembley, thanks to it not being included on the debenture. I paid £20 (good old voucher codes got me 50% off student tickets) to sit there and it was a great experience.

However, I was told that the RFL negotiated a deal, whereby they are paid as if the seats were all taken - a rare stroke of good business from Big Nige! Sadly, the 'ring of indifference' is just a feature of New Wembley.

It's always annoyed me seeing club Wembley mostly empty at CC finals, if as you say RFL got some sort of deal well ok just it doesn't look to good on the TV. I was in club Wembley last year it's a great view from there so I'm doing it again this year.

Plenty of cheap tickets still available on the train, particularly if you don't mind going via Crewe and splitting your tickets. If you and a friend or spouse regularly travel together, it may be worth investing in a 'two together' railcard. Two or three away trips together each year and you'll soon make your money back.

The train direct from WBQ only takes around 1h45. From there you can take the tube and enjoy a few pub stops en route, or hop straight onto the Overground. Much quicker than the loco-hauled footex trains which tend to take odd routes and play second fiddle to scheduled services. If memory serves, the footex from Wigan a few years back was cancelled on the day, due to loco shortages!

I paid £48 for the train. I have had it much cheaper in the past, but at £3 more than the coach I mustn't grumble.
