| Recruitment policy still leaves me unconvinced unfortunately.
But I have been wrong more than once where TS is concerned, and I hope I'm wrong again.
The pack is light and sooo much seems to depend on Chris Hill - too much.
Dodds is a gamble, but just shows how difficult it is to get a real top class prop.
Judgment reserved for Gidley and Sandow (ok the latter didn't set the world alight for the few games he played but I'm not too worried by that).
Lineham's defence is a real concern for me, but again a young guy. Monas wasn't over the hill. He can still finish
Hughes seems decent and age is on his side.
Regarding Westerman, has TS EVER played a ball playing 13?
I'm not sure but my belief is not. That's why I don't think we've got Westerman coming in. Definate talent but depends if he's brought in to play his natural game or become another battering ram.
Hill, Clark, Sims, Hughes, Westwood and probably Harrison/G.King in the pack. Dodds with Dwyer and maybe B.Evans and Philbin as key back up men.
Given how much I dislike the Pies, I have to say their conveyor belt of home grown talent is really impressive, and I'd say more of their recruits are successful.
Saints and Leeds aren't far behind.
Overall I think if we get in the top 4 we'll have done very well and punched above our weight.

Not at warrington, I think Ratchford has started the odd game there, possibly Grix too, but predominately he has played a 3 prop game at Wire.
He obviously used Sinfield as a ball playing loose while coaching Leeds & Great Britain / England though

Because he only made the bench for the NRL Grand Final; obviously.

| For some reason when I read certain posters posts I hear the voices of those 2 old blokes from the Muppets, Statler and Waldorf.

So , Nosey Parker says he's signing for us, whilst Wikipedia says:
"Despite interest from many clubs ahead of the 2016 season Westerman is likely to put pen to paper on a huge 3 year deal at Hull."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Westerman
So which of these dubious sources do I believe ???

| Parker is like an American missile strike, he fires enough to hit the right target occasionally.

Westerman I don't think has any major issues? so I would give him a chance, but the longer it goes on the less likely it will happen, so we could be adding him to Lillyman, Cronk, Ta'ai, Savelio plus a couple of others whose names escape me, that is a little bit worrying to me, some names I agree avoid at all costs but we can't sign all Mr Nice Guy's.
I'm with you a lot of names are on a persons wish list and pie in the sky I've been guilty of that once or twice, the club must be enquiring/approaching players after the end of season releases, there is bound to be leaks so hesitancy and or failure to get their man will add to a growing rumour list, especially as the squad is a little lightweight.

| Westerman is yours. Leeds agreed terms with him and were his first choice but Leeds were not prepared to pay the £150k transfer fee Hull wanted and Hull wouldn't budge on that. You were happy to meet Hull's valuation and have agreed terms with the player
