yes i said exactly the same thing, far too slow and doesnt carry the ball like he means it, just trundles it like he cant be d. Also thought Briers had a shocker but that may have been down to others not suppling him with the correct pass at the correct time

SL is different to the NRL. Give him chance to adapt to us as a team and the game over here and he won't be a bad signing IMO.

Early doors King showed next to nothing at all amd he was frankly awful in a lot of games. I'm not so much hoping history repeats itself (nice though that would be!) but making the point that it presumably takes time to move 9,000 miles away from home and settle into a new job, area and country. To the extent that people are writing the bloke off (and I accept that most, including you, are not) they should remember that. The fact he gets well paid is of no real consequence - it can still take time.

Yes and Louis Anderson who people are now saying shouldn't have been replaced by Waterhouse, took a long time to settle himself, in 2008 he didn't offer much, it was second half of 2009 and 2010 when he started to come into form.

FWIW, I said earlier on in this thread that he hasn't wowed me in attack. Maybe we should move him to front row and keep Grix at left second row? Either way, he's easily handled by the opposition in attack.

Ryan Hoffman slotted in quite well at Wigan played in the same posistion as well ,maybe he had better players around him!!!
