| Quote Dean Richmond="Dean Richmond"Sounds like a frustrated man. Personally i dont think we need ratchford, what with O'Brien, Briers and Myler, with Bridge etc.
Not saying he's a bad player, but i think we'll be fine without him, [uanyone agree[/u?'"
100% Dean
I just can't see how he'll improve us THAT much, and I imagine he'll cost us a hefty transfer fee, too.
In 2 years time (or whenever the fatefull day is, when Briers retires), if Smith doesn't fancy an O'Brien Myler partnership, he'll have got someone better than Ratchford

You are correct LTS, he is having a great season. Also he is 17 tomorrow!!!
As I have said previously he isn't the only one, we are blessed at the minute

| To be fair to Parish, he did say it with a smile and a glint in his eye. Also, it makes sense to try and ingratiate yourself with the locals early. Can't blame him.

STILL not 17?!? Wow, I knew he was young but thought he was already 17, which is still very young to be standing out in the forwards in the u20s. But 16 is amazing. I too have been very impressed with him (Ben Currie) whenever I have seen him. He scored a hat-trick against Hudds last week I think.

| Quote Manx-Wire="Manx-Wire"I heard from a very reliable source the other day that Salford are in a bit of trouble financially... Apparently only a top four finish is good enough to make any money as otherwise you don't get as many sky appearances which pay out about 50k per showing!'"
Signing a sponsorship deal with Mediacity, recently signing two new players and getting a new coach wouldn't really indicate to us having financial problems.

| Yeah he did, the whole team looked great to be honest.
Evans, Laithwaite, Menkeika, Hellewell, Shaw, Burke, Ben Evans, Laithwaite, Currie, McCarthy All looked class scored some great Tries especially the score from the kick off.
Tries against Hudds!
Currie (3), Paul Brearley, James Mendeika (2), Ben Hellewell (2), Brad Dwyer, James Saltonstall
Shaw kicked 8 from 10 not bad guess Hodgson is rubbing off on the youngsters, well done TS

Look, you can present evidence and throw as many facts around as you like but if RLFans has taught us anything it's that a 'reliable source' is the only significant measure of the truth.
If that's still not enough to convince, make way for a ' very reliable source'. Tread carefully here though, overexposure to very reliable sources can render you completely incapable of doubt.

| I love how Salford fans are dead excited about getting a new sponsorship deal with MediaCity - ie the same, welcome but ultimately not that lucrative, sponsorship deal they already had with the Trafford Centre (both Peel Holdings).

Do you love that? Such a strong emotion over something so trivial...
Good spot regarding how lucrative this deal can't possibly be though - as we already know (from a very reliable source of Manx-Wire no less!) Salford are dead and buried if they don't get a top 4 finish. Nothing has ever been more certain. It's more certain than detrimental affect a drum has on the credibility of a group of sports supporters.
