| Playing Devils Advocate, do we think Evans will be better than King at the same age?

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Loathe to heap pressure on one so young, but it is my humble that he will turn out to be a once in a generation player.

Well, Evans will definitely be a better Rugby Union player, if you get my drift....

| These duel registrations are a great idea. There are some very good players playing in those leagues and it gives them a chance to test themselves against bigger, more experienced players. It is also a great psychological tool as it gives the players a chance to see what it is like to be a player at that level, Rhys and others will be training with players who have not got big cars and fancy houses (don't get me wrong, I know SL players do not have the same lifestyle as footballers but there is still a difference). They will understand the difference between having a full time contract at a SL club and then at a Championship club, No disrespect to Leigh intended here. It should motivate them to learn and improve and especially at Leigh at the minute who have a good coach and a winning side. It makes you wonder if this arrangement was available back in 07 / 08 would things have turned out differently for players like Penny.

Some good points there, DDI
We've seen in the past (Roper etc) get a bit "Billy Big Biscuits" after a few rave reviews at a tender age.
This may help Rhys (and others) not get a bit too far ahead of themselves.
Good play, Smith.

I don`t doubt that , what I`ve seen of him on SKY and last friday was enough to see he has the qualities to succeed at the top level.
What I find baffling is one of your posters saying that he`s the best player in the championship, I`ll reserve judgement until the end of the season and then give a valid assessment.

Yet you don't care to mention any players that you think are better.
I struggle to think of any player in the Championship who would have played 7 times for Warrington this season.
So again which players are better than him?

| I can only remember two players who looked like Evans at comparable age. Nathan McAvoy when he was a teenager at Salford and Karl Pryce in his early games at Bradford.

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG |
