Was a decent run out today and a good turnout by the fans, i didn't expect to be waiting 15 minutes to get into the ground haha. Think taking Solomona off at half time saved Widnes from a real hammering today. Was impressed by the way we always looked to keep the ball alive. Thought the young fullback for Widnes did well in the first half aswell.

Great performance and have to agree with whats already been posted re the stand out players.
Felt bad for Craig Harvey. Got there early enough to see him nail all bar one of his practice conversions including a couple from each touchline. His kicking in the game left a bit to be desired but it will no doubt come in time as he's obviously got the skill to do it, perhaps just not the mental side of it

The Lord Tony Smith gave praise to his coaching staff in Willie P & Richard Marshall in the Guardian as they prepared the team but no mention of Kirkpatrick. (Sorry Fitzpatrick... Alcohol?) |
